Major donor renews support for the Foundation

The Bombardier Aerospace Employees Charity Fund renews its support for the Literacy Foundation by making a $30,000 donation to the Foundation over three years, dedicated to the Gift of Reading program.

Elementary pupils launch a book in aid of the Foundation

Où se cache le bonheur?  


Thursday, May 5, 2011 saw the launch of Où se cache le bonheur?, a book produced by pupils from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at École Jean-XXIII elementary school in Ange-Gardien, in the Montérégie.

For each copy sold of the book, available exclusively at Archambault, $1 will be paid to the Literacy Foundation.

Thanks to all the students, the principal and Julie Bazinet, the teacher responsible for the project.


Max la loupe enquête author donates royalties

For the fourth volume in the Max la loupe enquête series, children's author Stéphane Bourget did not do things by halves!

As well as calling on the creativity of a group of Secondary 3 students at École Saint-Georges in Montreal, he has undertaken to give his royalties from the book to the Literacy Foundation.

Four major new donors support the Foundation

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Literacy Foundation has received support from four major new donors: Cascades, National Bank Financial Group, BMO Financial Group and RBC Foundation.

Small bookstore makes large donation!

Trésors du Futur bookstore in Beloeil has made the Literacy Foundation a generous donation of $1,200. This contribution will help encourage children and adults as they learn to read and write.

Où se cache le bonheur?  


Le jeudi 5 mai 2011 avait lieu le lancement du livre Où se cache le bonheur?, une réalisation des élèves de la maternelle à la sixième année de l'école primaire Jean-XXIII à l'Ange-Gardien, en Montérégie.

Pour chaque exemplaire vendu du livre, offert exclusivement chez Archambault, 1 $ sera versé à la Fondation pour l'alphabétisation.
