Figures... and results!

  • 562 mentions of the Words of hope campaign in the form of plugs in Quebec daily and weekly papers.

  • Broadcast of the TV advertisement 800 000 Québécois nous privent toujours de leurs talents / 800,000 Quebecers are still depriving us of their talents (in French only) on 4 channels and 3 networks, from September 8 to 14, 2008, and on 9 networks, from January 5 to February 8, 2009.
    The  following TV stations broadcast the public service message, for a total of 482 occasions: TVA, TQS, SRC, Canal D, Canal Vie, Canal Z, Historia, Séries +, RDS and Réseau Info Sports.

  • 1/8-page placement for the Words of hope campaign in more than 140 Hebdos Québec-member weeklies, from April 12 to 18, 2009.

  • January was the busiest month since the Info-Alpha line was set up, with 847 calls. The previous record of 696 calls had been posted in November 2007, when the TV advertisement Words of hope was broadcast.

  • 70.6% of calls to Info-Alpha generated by the Foundation’s media presence, compared with 54.8% in 2007-2008 and 32.5% in 2006-2007.

  • 4.1% of calls to the Referral Department (Info-Alpha) whose source was the Foundation’s Web site. In 2007-2008, the percentage was 7.3%, and in 2006-2007 it was 10.7%.

  • 100% of email requests for training to the Referral Department (Info-Alpha) were made through the Web site.

  • Publication of 16 issues of the Foundation’s electronic newsletter, À la une!, including 4 special issues and one survey.

  • 1,668 subscribers to the Foundation’s monthly electronic newsletter, À la une!, including 237 new subscribers.

  • 47,442 visits to the Web site in 2008-2009, up 14.5% from the previous year, when there were 41,428 visits.
