Family Literacy Day
On January 27, 2010, literacy organizations, libraries, schools and other organizations in the family literacy field are invited to celebrate Family Literacy Day across Canada.
Once again this year, the Foundation is collaborating in the Day by distributing the promotional materials developed by ABC CANADA to literacy training organizations and Famille grassroots organizations in January.

Description: The Chateauguay Valley Literacy Council will donate three Coles/Chapters/Indigo Gift Certificates to each school in their area of intervention. One of these certificates will be given to the school librarian to purchase a book for the school, one will be given to a student from grades K-3 and another will be given to a student from grades 4-6. All libraries will also receive three gift certificates, one for the library and two to be given to children who attend the library.
