64% of callers were women (seeking help for themselves or someone else);
32% of callers were friends, family members or colleagues of the person with weak reading skills wishing to undertake training;
48% of learners* were men;
* By “learners” we mean those individuals who will ultimately benefit from the referral. The caller and the potential learner are not necessarily the same person.
